IN THE SHADOW OF THE BUTTE, Oelrichs History

This history of Oelrichs, SD was printed in 1984, 725 pages of stories and pictures of homesteaders and their decendents. The Butte is located about 2 miles east of Oelrichs and was used as a lookout station. It tells of the railroad being built, Indians in the area and large cattle ranchers. There are many many family stories with pictures, that are indexed in the back for easy look up.
